It was my birthday on the 16th. My dear husband gave me a new digital camera, so I took full advantage and made a video of my day

Today is one of those days that rolls around every so often. These days are typically happy and sad.

Today I get to start using my newest Moleskine. It’s a custom, laser-etched, squared large notebook (which I know won’t mean a lot to those of you who are not addicted as I am ). The artwork is by Texas artist Susan Rudat.

I’ve had it ruled up and ready to go for a couple of weeks now…the pages are numbered, the index is waiting to be populated and the metatags are written in the back for handy reference….aaahhh the sweetness of a new notebook. I love it!

But there’s the sad side…last night I wrote my final word in my trusty Moley that has been my constant companion for the past 18 months. She holds all manner of hair-brained ideas and mindmaps and lists and drawings and notes. Farewell my friend.
